You can automate the process of joining Zoom video calls on your Echo Show 10 by linking your calendar and Zoom account to Alexa. The Zoom calendar entries must contain the meeting ID and passcode for this though.
Alexa can automatically read these details and join the Zoom meeting. You can ask “Alexa, join my Zoom meeting” or “Alexa, join my meeting” for this. SlashGear reports that since the third-gen Echo Show 10 features a motorized base, the base will rotate to track and keep you in focus when on a video call.
The smaller Echo Show 8 already had support for Zoom calls.
YouTube Support Is Still Missing
The addition of Zoom to the Echo Show 10 will definitely increase its usefulness, though the smart display still lacks a dedicated YouTube app. Some of the other streaming apps that are available on the Echo Show include Prime Video, Tubi, Netflix, and Hulu.
