5 Blue Lock - Winner

Blue Lock is one of the newest additions this anime season and follows an effort made by the Japanese government to form the strongest soccer team and claim the World Cup. A group of star soccer players is brought together and forced to compete in a grueling competition where a loss can end a player’s career.

The series features incredible animation and intense encounters rivaling top sports anime such as Koroko No Basket. The ending theme, Winner, is an upbeat jam performed by Shugo Nakamura, who has also contributed to series such as Zombie Land Saga.

4 My Hero Academia Season 6 - SKETCH

My Hero Academia has broken back onto the scene with its sixth season as the conclusion of the hero and villain war slowly draws near Deku and Shigaraki meet face to face on the battlefield as the world teeters on the edge of destruction. The series is known for its strong ending themes and season 6 does not disappoint.

The main season 6 ending song is called SKETCH and is performed by Japanese singer-songwriter Kiro Akiyama. It’s the tenth ending song in total and was used throughout the first thirteen episodes of the season. It was then replaced by a new ending song, Kita Kaze by SIX LOUNGE, which has been in use since episode 127.

3 The Angel Next Door Spoil Me Rotten - Chiisana Koi No Uta

A very cutesy slice-of-life anime, the Angel next door spoils me rotten, follows Amane Fujimiya, who has been stricken bedridden after giving one of his classmates his umbrella. In an attempt to repay the favor, Shiina Mahiru decides to aid Amane in his recovery. Unfortunately, Shiina is ill-prepared for the chaotic can of worms that is his apartment.

The ending theme of the series is called Chiisana Koi No Uta, a soft and somber song performed by Manaka Iwami. Interestingly, Iwami also serves as the voice actress for Shiina Mahiru.

2 In/Spectre - Invincible Love

The second season of In/Spectre has been released, allowing fans to rejoin Kotoko Iwanaga and Kurou Sakuragawa on their paranormal adventures. The mismatched couple takes on evil spirits, haunted highways, and demonic entities as Kotoko is the goddess of wisdom and aid to yokai while Kurou is a resident immortal.

1 Buddy Daddies - My Plan

The lives of criminal contract killers Rei and Kazuki become even more hectic when they find themselves as surrogate fathers to a nine-year-old girl. Miri initially wanders into a gunfight between the targets of Rei and Kazuki. Through a series of events, they all end up living together, with Rei and Kazuki caring for all of Miri’s needs.

While the two men are not the most adept fathers, they come to love their new lives. The ending theme of Buddy Daddies is My Plan, which is performed by the band DurDN and is their breakout hit.
