Varney Lake is a visual novel by LCB Game Studio, the same developer who made Mothmen 1966. The game is about three kids who went on an adventure near a lake in 1954 but found a vampire. Years later, a paranormal investigator tracked the trio down to learn about that day at Varney Lake.
The game shows the three friends trying to recall and reminiscence about their vampire encounter and reveal the mystery. Like Mothmen 1966, this game is full of interesting puzzles and features amazing pixel art and illustrations. As far as great pulp visual novels go, they don’t come much better than this.
